- Wet spots last for 10 seconds, but the duration does not refresh if another wet spot is applied on the same spot.
- Wet spots increases the player's walk speed by +21% while walking over it.
- New messes cannot form on a wet spot.
- Does not create a wet spot if the floor is already buffed from a Floor Buffer or Robot Buffer.
- While holding this tool, the player's walk speed is increased by 30%.
- Bonus walk speed stacks multiplicative with other sources, like while walking over wet spot or a buff floor.
- This includes the wet spot created while moving with this appliance, meaning the player has a +57.3% speed bonus while moving with this appliance.
- Note: The game's tooltip is misleading, implying that the player does not gain bonus movement speed while using this tool.
