The simple cloth table is an upgraded serving table where players deliver meals to customers.
- Can seat up to 2 customers.
- The table's rotation determines the order that customers will fill its available seats.
- In its default orientation, chairs are filled in the order:
Right
, Down
, Left
, Up
.
- As appliances placed against walls may start with a different orientation, where
Up
is facing the wall.
- If 2 customers sit on this serving table, both customers will order the same meal and the player only needs to deliver one meal to satisfy both customers.
- Customers will pay as if 2 of those meal were provided.
- Does not combine with any other tables, including other Simple Cloth Tables.
- Chairs will only appear on opposite sides of each other. Interact with the table to rotate the chair's positions.
- During the Preparation phase, chairs will be displayed by the table. Green chairs indicate active chairs, while maroon chairs indicate deactivated chairs.
- Interact with the chair to enable or deactive the chair.
- If a chair is adjacent to different tables, Grab on the chair will change which table the chair belongs to.
- Appliance triples the duration (adding +200% duration on top of the base duration), NOT doubles the duration.
- The increased duration can stack multiplicatively with other sources.
- Player can place any item on this appliance that can be carried.
- If there is an item on this table, customer will not select the table to sit at until the table is cleared of items.
- Player can combine food items on this appliance.
- There are additional & useful benefits of using the Simple Cloth Table(s) that are not explicitly stated, but make it very useful in helping the overall restaurant flow, especially if acquired & used in abundance. Because group of customers share dishes with each other, this mean that the overall amount of food given to customers is also less, which in turn can lead to the following additional benefits:
- The amount of food needed to be made is reduced. This means, less work overall is needed to prepare the food for the customers. This means less time chopping/kneading.cooking food, and if the prepping of the food create trash, like Spaghetti, this also means less trash that needs to be thrown away.
- A player can spend less time bringing food to those customers, as they will only need to bring 1 food instead of 2. This can easily save whoever is serving a lot of time as going from one spot to another is what usually consume most of the server's time.
- If the food item leaves a leftover after being eaten by the customer, like a dirty dish, this means that is one less dirty plate a people has to bring to their designated cleaning location, and then have to clean. That also means, less time spent cleaning plates.
- As Simple Cloth Tables cannot combine with any tables, including to themselves, it is easier to pack of a lot of Simple Cloth Tables in a relatively compact area, meaning a player can have more serving tables in contrast to most other types of tables.
- But due to how this table's seating arrangement must always be at opposite ends of each other, in order to use this table to its fullest, the player has to be willing to deal with colliding into customers on multiple occasions during the day and deal with the mess customers leave behind.
