The blueprint desk is an appliance that cycles through blueprints to be available the next day.
- The cycle time before changing blueprints is 15 seconds.
- Interact to lock in the displayed blueprint, which during the next Preparation phase, that Blueprint will replace 1 of the shop offers.
- If the player does not Interact with it during the day, it will lock in the Blueprint that was displayed during the end of the day.
- The hit box of the appliance is 1 x 0.5, meaning with careful placement of two such dimensioned items, the player can pass between the appliances.
If a player has multiple Blueprint Desks, it will keep replacing Blueprints that the shop offers except for 1 Blueprint, which will always be selected from the Pool of Staple. Any additional Blueprint Desks afterwards grant additional Blueprints instead.
- Example 1: If the player has 2 Blueprint Desks and the shop offers 5 Blueprints normally; 3 of the Blueprints offered by the shop with 1 of them being from the Pool of Staples, and the player will receive 2 blueprints based on the Blueprint Desks selections.
- Example 2: If the player has 15 Blueprint Desks and the shop offers 5 Blueprints normally; 1 of the Blueprints will be a Staple appliance offered by the shop and the player will receive 15 blueprints based on the Blueprint Desks selections.
ΒΆ Upgrades
The Research Desk upgrades function differently compared to most appliances, as they can be upgraded multiple time until the desired Upgraded desk is acquired. Upgrading the Research Desk will randomly select one of three upgrades, but upgrading any of the upgraded desks will follow a specific pattern that will keep looping among its upgraded versions.
