The discount desk is an upgraded appliance that can reduce the cost of blueprints in a surrounding Blueprint Cabinet (orthoginally or diagonal) by 50%.
- Interact for 5 seconds to reduce the cost of the blueprints in a single Blueprint Cabinet by 50%.
- Will also discount any duplicated blueprint at the same time if it is in the Blueprint Cabinet.
- Appliance can discount multiple different surrounding Blueprint Cabinets with at least a blueprint in it that hasn't already reached the minimum cost.

- Appliance can only discount each Blueprint Cabinet and its blueprint(s) once per day.
- Discount effect can stack multiple times on the same Blueprint, but will be removed if the blueprint is rerolled.
- The hit box of the appliance is 1 x 0.5, meaning with careful placement of two such dimensioned items, the player can pass between the appliances.
ΒΆ Upgrades
The Research Desk upgrades function differently compared to most appliances, as they can be upgraded multiple time until the desired Upgraded desk is acquired. Upgrading the Research Desk will randomly select one of three upgrades, but upgrading any of the upgraded desks will follow a specific pattern that will keep looping among its upgraded versions.
