The plate is a provider that provides 8 plates.
- Stores up to 8 clean plates.
- Most Main meals require plates to be served to customers.
- Plates can combine with most food items.
- Some ingredients can only be combined with another ingredient while on a plate, like Tomato Salad.
- Any food item on a plate cannot burn, like Steak.
- Plates become dirty after being used by the customer, and must be clean to reused.
- Can be clean with an appliance that enables the clean action, like the Sink or any of its upgrades.
- Dirty plate takes 2 seconds to clean by default.
- The game will prevent players from trashing this appliance if the player would not have enough total plates for a possible group size of customers.
This appliance is a Conditional Staple
- If the player has no active Plates, the Plates will be placed in the pool of Staples, which is a small collection of appliances with a high chance of being offered at the shop.
- If the player has an active Plates, it will be moved out of the pool of Staples and into the regular pool of Blueprints, referred to as the Seed Pool.
- Blueprints of appliances within the pool of Staples will not appear through a reroll.
- While the appliance is not part of the Staple pool, its blueprints can appear through a reroll.
