Ingredients and Equipment provide the items necessary to make Recipes. A new restaurant starts with the minimum required for the chosen Main Recipe, but others are granted through Cards over the course of the run.
When a 
Food Card is selected which requires Ingredients or Equipment not already present in the restaurant, one or multiple parcels will appear in the following Preparation Phase, containing one of each new item. More copies can be obtained from Blueprints (with the exception of Patties, which will never appear as a blueprint).
Unless otherwise stated, all Ingredients and Equipment provide an unlimited supply of their respective item.

* Blue Fish, Pink Fish, Crab, Fish Fillet, Oysters, and Spiny Fish are all produced by the generic Fish Provider. At the start of a new day, each Fish Provider is assigned one of the available variations on the recipe, depending on the chosen Cards (see Fish).
Extra items are items that customers may order after a certain type of meal is provided to them. For each second a customer group eats, there is a roughly 10%~20% chance of an individual customer ordering an extra item per second, increasing the more extra items the player has unlocked. An individual customer can only order one extra item once per meal.
