- When placed with the mouth pointing towards a cooking device and is in use:
speed is doubled (2x)- Burning speed is quadrupled (4x)

The gas override is a useful option to cook Potted food like Soup as those have long cooking time and cannot burn.

If combined with the Safety Hob, the player can double the cooking speed without having to worry about burning the food as the Safety Hob prevents any food from burning.

If combined with Danger Hob,
cooking time quadruples but burning time will be eightfolds. For example, a Bread is usually 20s | +20s to burn but when a gas override is connected to Danger Hob then 5s | +2.5s to burn as shown below. (also check Burnt Food for calculation)
- Can stack with Gas Limiter to neutralize the burning speed but is still reduced by 25%. For example, a Bread is usally 20s | +20s to burn but when a gas override and gas limiter are connected to Danger Hob then 13.33s | +10s to burn
