The portioner is an appliance that can portion a food item.
- Place the food in front of the appliance (direction of the yellow arrows), and the appliance will automatically attempt to portion the food towards itself.
- During the preparation phase, Interact with the appliance to rotate it and aim the yellow arrows towards the desired direction.
- Ingredients with disposable insides (Corn, Pumpkin, Spiny Fish, Bone-in Steak) can be portioned to separate them (insides will go onto the Portioner).
- Toppings (Breakfast Beans, Turkey Gravy, Steak Sauces) in Pots can be portioned by placing the Pot on the Portioner. Food behind the appliance (opposite direction of the yellow arrows) will receive topping.
- Some ingredients (Water, Ice, Steamed Milk, Beans) can be taken from their providers and combined automatically with other ingredients on the portioner.
- Player can place any item on this appliance that can be carried.
- Player can combine food items on this appliance.
- The appliance can also combine the portioned food to an item already on the appliance, if possible.
- For example, portioning bread while a serving board is on the appliance will automatically add the slice bread to the serving board.
- If there is an item on it that cannot be combined with the portioned item, the appliance will pause its portioning right before completing the process.
